Autonomy, one of the eight tests of RAK Robot Games

Autonomy

The purest test in the Games. Nobody is allowed to help.

What this
test measures.

Autonomy tests independent decision-making. The machine is given an objective, not a route, and everything after the start signal has to come from the machine itself.

How it works

  • Objectives are issued at the start line, not before.
  • All communication links are closed during the run.
  • Conditions change mid-run without warning.
  • Any operator input ends the attempt.
